:)

Hi.
My name is Alix.
I love cute baby fuzzy creatures.
That may just be me going back to my days as a four-year-old.

I saw this commercial today and it made my day.
Maybe made my life.
Lifted my spirits.
Whichever way you look at it, it's...

Kind of a big deal.
Watch this.
Enjoy it.
Cherish it.
LOVE it.

I buy DAWN soap now.

and my favorite one is...

REID!

Realtor from Philly.
He is a gem and a peach.
And trying to find a killer combo like that is near impossible.

I seriously think this guy is adorable, not to mention sweet, genuine and an all around good guy.
If Jill doesn't choose him...
I'm free!
But, while watching tonight's episode I got the notion that none of the guys were right for her.
Kippy Kiptyn is a great guy but is totally fading out.
Poor Ed left the scene and then came back.
Bad move Ed. Undying love does not have a job as a technology consultant.
And Reid.
You are my match.
Sorry Jill.

story time.

I will try to tell this story without sounding like a mean girl.
Because, really...
I'm SO nice.

So the night before the Fourth of July,
we were walking up and down University AVE.
This place is a hip-hop and HAPPENIN' place on the Fourth...
let me tell ya.

So.
It's actually a story that takes time and understanding.
Here is the sweetened condensed version:

I dance with boy in a white shirt.
Skinny blonde girl steps in and steals my thunder.
I'm so annoyed.
We walk back down the street.
I tell Garrett my frustration with skinny blonde girl and stupid boy with white shirt who likes skinny blonde girls... (no offense to skinny blonde girls. I love them. Just not ones who steal white shirt boy right in front of me. I mean, where's the girl code here?)
Garrett understands and feels my frustration and says,
"Want me to throw my gum at him?"
In a fit of rage, I say,
"YES."
But, I'm mostly totally kidding. (I really don't want gum to hit this guy.)
Garrett proceeds to throw gum in the middle of the sidewalk.
We forget about the gum and continue our journey down University Avenue and engage in witty conversation.
1 minute later
We walk past skinny blonde girl throwing a fit and trying to pick gum out of her hair because
"Someone threw gum in my hair! WHO JUST THROWS GUM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET?!"

uh...

Apparently karma really does exist.

But, I do have a concious and I feel bad.

In a really... HA!
Sort of way.

Let freedom freaking ring.

ohhh dear...

The problem these days is that I work.
A lot.
I mean, I am grateful for my two jobs.
I actually enjoy them... for the most part.
BUT
I don't like how I am not free to do anything whenever I want.
I don't like having limitations
or telling people I can't do anything because of work.
I mean, how lame is that?
No one wants to hear that!

I have no solution to this problem.
I think though, I may find myself slightly bored.
Having all that free time.
Oh, if I could make money doing nothing.
Life would be bliss.

...sigh...

Saw THIS movie today:

Absolutely enjoyed every moment of it.
I thought it was hilarious and heart-felt and the perfect ending.
OF COURSE!

I have decided that although Ryan Reynolds somewhat resembles a chipmunk or something,
I find him HIGHLY attractive
with the perfect blend of humor.
HILARITY
if you will.

Hello, Ryan
I'M SINGLE...

you will be missed...

As crazy as he was,
Michael Jackson totally left a legacy.
I love his music and his amazing talents.
He was truly the KING of pop.
A pure entertainer.

3:04 AM

There have been many posts like this one.
It is late in the evening.
Early in the morning.
Whichever way you look at it, I should be sleeping and YET I am not.

This is bad. I can't sleep.
Too many caramel apples tonight.
Too much caffeine.
Too many strange incidences.
Too much to think about.
What's a girl to do?

BLOG.
I guess I will blog.
And stalk.
And maybe even combine the two to have a wonderful marriage I call
"BLOG-STALKING."
Beautiful relationship.

So this is what I will be doing.
In case anyone was wondering...

UPDATE

Ok... So it's been a while. I know. I have been up to many great and wonderful things.
UNFORTUNATELY I suck at taking pictures.
But... Here we go...

1. My dear dear friend Heather Lively more affectionately called "Cheadsz" has moved away and out of my life forever. JUST KIDDING. She is only moving to Washington (my homeland). But, this time, I feel like we really won't be living close to eachother for a really long time. It was a rough goodbye and it's a hard transition.
I don't know what I will be doing with all of my free days. Usually, I would have a day off and spend it with Heather eating Kneaders or Cafe Rio or Zupas and maybe stop at the mall and spend money on jewelry and accessories. It's just our thing. Sometimes we would paint at Color Me Mine or just sit at her house and watch TV and catch up on our gossip which I thoroughly enjoy doing. We call eachother our "low-maintenance friends" but, sometimes I feel a little high maintenance when I haven't seen her in over a few weeks.
I realized that we don't have any recent pictures together. SAD. I have documented some of the good old times... ohhhh Rexburg.
It's where memories are made.

2. I was able to spend time with my OTHER best friend, MINDY. Who is also known as Minderella. I spent the weekend at her parent's house in North Salt Lake and then took a spontaneous trip to Rexburg. Icing on the cake people.

Mindy is moving away and out of my life forever as well. (Don't cry... Don't cry.) Except she really will NEVER be out of my life forever. This girl knows more about me than maybe I even know myself. I can always talk to her and tell her pretty much everything. There is no judging in this relationship. She also has a pretty funny husband and I like to listen to their "nothing fights" because they just make me laugh. ALL. DAY. LONG.
I LOVE this girl.

3. I have decided that ALTHOUGH Rexburg really has no great REDEEMING qualities for being in the middle of nowhere (Besides Horkley's), I love it because there are so
many great memories and the birth of so many amazing friendships. Honestly, I would probably absoltely hate the BURG if I didn't have my friends there.

4. Mindy bought me this book called, "I LIKE YOU"
I LOOOOVE this book. Absolutely adorable. I will read it everyday. It makes me happy and turns that frown back around.
Yes, I did say that.

5. Lastly, for anyone who was wondering about my Small Claims Court fiasco... It was traumatizing to say the least. Probably one of THE MOST intimidating situations I have ever been in... and let me tell you, I have experienced some pretty intimidating things.
I feel like anyone who takes anyone to Small Claims must have no heart because my heart almost stopped from fear, nervousness, and anxiety. For months before the dreaded day, I would have mini panic attacks - DAILY. So, if you wish a heart attack and major health-related complications to someone, take them there. Probably shaved off a few weeks from my life.
HOWEVER, the judge decided to drop the case due to lack of sufficient evidence.
So glad that it's all over.
RELIEF is all I have to say.

I am excited for summer to finally take a turn on the weather and get some SUN! I love love love the sun! I can't wait to take mini vacations and lay out and be lazy...
OH THIS IS MY FAVORITE TIME.

resolution.

Ok. Let me begin by saying that I am fully aware that New Years was just over six months ago. Still, that doesn't change my ever-so-spirited mood to accomplish any and all things I want.
I have decided that I want to do MANY things.
For as long as I can remember, I focused on what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. WELL news flash to MYSELF...
THIS
is the rest of my life.

Instead of making excuses like,
"Oh, I am saving money."
"I don't know what I want to do."
"My contract at my apartment doesn't end until August."

I will start saying things like,
"NOW is the time."
"Sure, I'll go sky diving with you."
"Yeah, I'll learn how to fly a plane."
... and so on and so forth.

I want to do so many crazy and amazing things. I don't want to be a person who makes excuses their entire lives... nor do I want to be someone who didn't at least TRY to accomplish their goals.
From here on out, I will be motivated.

I feel inspired.
